Founded in 2005, groWING (booth 1376) is a fresh face at EBACE. The Swiss aviation services company specialises in training and web-based data management for small business jet operators.
GroWING initially started as a training company - it operates training courses in 12 European and Middle Eastern cities, all based on European Aviation Safety Agency regulations.
It is expanding into data management and hosting services, with two main lines - CAMO.aero, which provides an online system for continuing airworthiness management organisations to store data; and FLYbrary.aero, which is a web-based library for aviation companies to store information such as technical manuals and other publications online.
"If a customer buys a new aircraft, it can be a total nightmare for them with all the documentation involved," says general manager Manfred Brunner. "We can send people to their facility and look after all of that, including scanning everything from the delivery sheet on so that the right records are kept. To maintain the value of an asset like an aircraft, it all needs to be properly documented."
