Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services has won a heavy maintenance contract from Transaero Airlines for its Boeing 767 fleet.
The MRO firm says the first Transaero 767 was received for C-check in late January, followed by a nose-to-tail check on another aircraft at its facilities at Shanghai Pudong International airport.
Flightglobal’s Ascend Fleets database shows that Transaero operates a fleet of 94 aircraft, of which 18 are 767s.
The MRO firm also does heavy maintenance work on Aeroflot's fleet of 767s.
Boeing Shanghai is a joint venture between Boeing, Shanghai Airport Authorities and China Eastern Airlines.
