Indonesian search personnel are still hunting for the crucial flight-data recorder from the crashed Trigana Air ATR 42-300.
The aircraft came down during a domestic flight in the Papua region on 16 August.
While the cockpit-voice recorder has been located and submitted to the Indonesian National Transportation Safety Committee, the flight-data recorder has yet to be retrieved.
The country’s transport ministry confirms that the search teams are still searching the crash site for the second device.
None of the 49 passengers and five crew members survived the accident. The inquiry has yet to establish the circumstances of the loss.
