Two pilots from the Dominican air force died when their Enaer T-35 Pillan basic trainer crashed during an air show on 7 April.
Video footage of the accident posted on the internet shows a formation of three T-35s performing an aerobatic display off the coast of Santo Domingo, before the third aircraft lost height and crashed into the sea.
The accident reduces the Dominican Republic's T-35 inventory to four aircraft, and the global operational fleet of the type to 91, according to Flightglobal's MiliCAS database. Other users include the air forces of Chile, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay and Spain, plus the Ecuadorian navy, it says.
