FlightSafety Boeing Training International (FSBTI) has split its latest order for Boeing 717 flight simulators between CAE Electronics and FlightSafety International.
CAE will manufacture the joint venture's third 717 simulator, which is set to be ready for training by April next year. FlightSafety, which produced FSBTI's first two 717 machines, will deliver the joint venture's fourth device by May next year.
The first two simulators are located next to the 717 production line at Long Beach, California. The latest two will be placed in locations convenient to announced and prospective 717 customers, FSBTI says.
