British Aerospace Royal Ordnance, Thomson-Thorn Missile Electronics and the UK Defence Evaluation and Research Agency have agreed to jointly develop and market multi-warhead systems designed to penetrate "hardened" targets. The team plans to offer a range of warheads for a variety off stand-off, cruise and air-to-surface weapons. The focus is primarily on the requirements of US defence prime contractors for a number of US programmes. The warhead designs draw on a number of UK developments.
