At the recent FIDAE show in Chile, the brave Scruggs Aerospace team coped with crowds of Latin American air force and army visitors to its hi-tech Mi-24 upgrade demo. Impressed with the high level of interest, Budgie News made enquiries. Was it the sophisticated systems, the clever integration, the innovative architecture? Well, maybe, says Scruggs. However, the real answer, they admit, may have had something to do with the remarkable ability of the turret-mounted infrared cameras to pick out the underwear of the muchacha on the adjacent stand. "From a pilot's perspective the addition of these sensors is purely transparent," they say.
