US Airways began the first phase of a marketing relationship with Spanair with 32 codeshare flights in the USA and Spain. US Airways will begin a separate codesharing pact with All Nippon Airways (ANA) in spring, by which time US Airways will be a full member of the Star Alliance alongside ANA and Spanair.
