Cessna has received US certification for its improved Model 525A Citation CJ2+, completing the revamp of its CitationJet line. Deliveries will begin in the second quarter of next year, following on from the improved CJ1+ light jet, which was certificated in July with deliveries to begin later this year. Cessna says it has 36 CJ1+ and 59 CJ2+ orders.
The CJ1+ and CJ2+ introduce the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated flightdeck originally developed for the CJ3, the largest member of the revamped CitationJet line, which was certificated in October 2004.
