The proof-of-concept prototype, of the VisionAire's all composite Vantage business jet, will be rolled out on 8 November. The six seat, single-engined design, is being completed by Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites, at its plant in Mojave, California. Production examples will be assembled at a new plant in Ames, Iowa. The prototype is to have its first flight in November.
