It will be a good year for the aerospace industry in Bordeaux in 2000, with the staging of the Aero Solutions expo. The three-day event at the Bordeaux Lac Exhibition Centre will be devoted to aeronautics, space, defence and advanced material technology companies. With some 25,000 direct employees and 230 companies in the aerospace, defence and composite material sector located around Aquitaine, the region represents one of the largest concentrations of expertise in this sector in Europe.
