Australia's Virgin Blue has appointed a new chief commercial officer, Liz Savage.
She will commence duties from the end of March 2010, says the airline group.
At Virgin Blue, she will be responsible for revenue management, sales, product and services, communications, marketing and brand management across the group's four airlines, says Virgin Blue.
She replaces Stefan Pichler, who took over as CEO of Kuwait's Jazeera Airways in June.
Savage was formerly the managing director of UK's Monarch Flights and Holidays.
