Volvo Aero improved its financial performance in 1995, helped by strong sales growth in its core military-engine business, but warns that it will have to adapt to defence cuts expected from the Swedish Parliament's defence review later this year. Overall, pre-tax profits virtually doubled, to SKr281 million ($41 million). Sales were up by 6%, to nearly SKr3.8 billion.
