Spares overhaul and logistics specialist AAR has launched a joint venture with Alitalia Engineering & Maintenance which will provide "one-stop shop" maintenance services for the Boeing 737. The venture will involve AAR's Amsterdam facilities, and Alitalia engineering centres in Rome and Naples. Mytravel Airways and SAS Component have signed a long-term "Free2Fly" agreement covering all components on MyTravel's Boeing 767 fleet.
