The Airbus A380 will fly at June's Paris air show, say organisers. "I see no reason to say it will not fly," says the show's commissaire general Louis Le Portz. "Airbus consider demonstrating it at Paris a priority." The show is also gearing up for its first flying display of unmanned air vehicles in 2007, despite being stopped by the French civil aviation authority this year. A 500m2 (5,380ft2) UAV pavilion is one of several new features at this year's event, which will also see the Dassault 7X long-range business jet fly in public for the first time. Others include a Middle East pavilion and an area for European small and medium enterprises (SME), grouped by region. Fees are being cut for "leisure" aircraft manufacturers, which organisers say have been put off exhibiting in the past because of cost.
