The China Flight Inspection Center (CFIC) has ordered three additional Cessna Citation Sovereigns to utilise for airways calibration.
Cessna announced the three aircraft deal at the show yesterday bringing the CFIC Citation fleet to 11. "It was chosen for its reliability, its wide operating envelope with a maximum true airspeed of Mach 0.8 and its unmatched low speed handling characteristics," says Cessna's Roger Whyte.
"They will be used to callibrate all of the airports in the people's Republic of China including Hong Kong and Macau and airports up to 15,000 feet in elevation.
The CAAC type design validation is expected by the end of this year with delivery due at the end of 2010.
