Aircraft-equipment supplier AAR, of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, has named James Bacon vice-president for airline programmes. Bacon, most recently an airline consultant, has also served with Continental Airlines and Air California. Michael Hughes is appointed general manager for AAR Pacific, the company's sales and maintenance base in Singapore. He was previously with AAR Aviation Services (UK), based in London, where he is replaced as general manager by John O'Loughlin. O'Loughlin was previously with Aer Lingus and TEAM Aer Lingus.
