Aero Tec Laboratories (ATL) Europe's new Unmanned Vehicle Fuel Cell division is displaying its ultra-lightweight, bladder-type fuel tanks for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). ATL says that it is focusing on development of low-cost, non-exploding fuel cells, and can make complex fuel-cell shapes and sophisticated scavenging devices to optimise available space for maximum usable fuel capacity. ATL's fixed and collapsible fuel bladders can be fully foam baffled to control fluid-surge and help maintain a constant centre-of-gravity. It is also producing oil bladders for two-stroke engine lubricants, and vent collection bags which prevent the release of flammable fuel vapours during UAV transportation.
