Lockheed Martin has teamed with BAE Systems, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman Space Technology and Raytheon for a billion-dollar contest to produce thousands of software-programmable joint tactical radio systems for the US Air Force and US Navy. Boeing and Northrop Grumman are also competing for development and demonstration contracts.
