Turkey has slipped the start of the Boeing 737 airborne early warning and control system (AEW&C) programme by two months. It is now rescheduled for 4 February. Boeing still expects the first aircraft to be delivered 42 to 48 months after that. Turkey has ordered four 737AEW&Cs, plus two options.
