Afriqiyah Airways has selected Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance to support General Electric CF6-80E1 engines powering two Airbus A330-200s.
The Libyan carrier has an additional three A330-200s on order. It will take delivery of the first of the widebody twinjets by the end of this year, and the other two in 2014. These will be automatically included in the scope of AFI KLM E&M's time-and-materials contract, which covers engine repairs.
