Air India has extended a maintenance agreement with SR Technics covering support of CFM International CFM56 engines.

The agreement encompasses 61 Airbus A320-family and Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and the work will be carried out at SR Technics' Zurich powerplant maintenance centre.

SR Technics values the deal at SFr60 million ($57 million).

Air India's Airbus A330-200s are also serviced by SR Technics through a maintenance agreement on their Pratt & Whitney PW4168 engines and a component support pact.
