French charter carrier Air Mediterranee has contracted AJ Walter Aviation to maintain components for seven Airbus A321s.
The multi-year, hour-based support agreement covers four aircraft stationed at Paris Charles de Gaulle, two at Dubai and one in Moldova's capital Chisinau, AJW says.
Spare equipment will be placed at the three locations.
Air Mediterranee technical director Frederic Cros says the spares' location at the airports was a central requirement of the agreement. "This will enable the airline to have better cost control," he says.
