Air New Zealand’s (ANZ) regional arm Air Nelson has introduced the first of 17 Bombardier Dash 8 Q300 turboprops it has on order. ANZ holds options for 10 more of the 50-seaters, as well as 13 of the larger, 70-seat Q400 variant. Air Nelson will use the Q300s to replace its existing fleet of 17 Saab 340s on the domestic services it operates for ANZ under the “Air New Zealand Link” brand.
