Air New Zealand has introduced the first of three Boeing 737-300s acquired on operating lease, mainly for trans-Tasman services from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The first aircraft, leased from GE Capital Aviation Services, began flights at the end of March. It is painted in a "millennium" scheme, incorporating the colours of New Zealand and Australia.
