Another two Boeing employees who work at the company’s Everett site have tested positive for the disease caused by coronavirus, bringing to three the number of employees who have tested positive.

Boeing, which produces widebody aircraft at Everett, confirms the additional cases. It says neither production nor its supply chain have been impacted.

The company on 9 March disclosed that one employee had tested positive for the disease, called COVID-19.

Washington state has become a hotspot of coronavirus infections, reporting 267 confirmed cases, including 54 in Snohomish County, which includes Everett, according to the state health department’s website.
