British Airways chief executive Rod Eddington won the executive leadership award in the annual Airline Strategy Awards, organised by Flight International sister publication Airline Business. Others winners include: Alaska Airlines for technology; ExpressJet chief executive Jim Ream for best regional airline leadership; JetBlue for marketing; Lufthansa for operations; and US Airways for finance. The awards were presented at the International Air Transport Association AGM in Washington DC on 3 June.
