Appointments
Boeing has made three senior appointments. James Jamieson, senior vice-president (VP) of airplane programmes for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, will become chief technology officer. He will be replaced by Michael Cave, senior VP of commercial aviation services, who is succeeded by Louis Mancini, VP maintenance services. Judith Moreton is the new managing director of Bombardier Flexjet Europe. She was formerly head of operations at Flexjet. Britten-Norman Aircraft has appointed Kevin Squibb, formerly operations director for parent company B-N Group, as managing director. Jan Ernst de Groot, senior VP government and industry affairs and general counsel at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, is to add the role of company secretary. Former Northrop Grumman chief executive Kent Kresa has joined US private equity firm Carlyle Group as a senior adviser to its aerospace and defence group. Robert Dompka has become director of Bell Helicopter's tiltrotor UAV programmes. He was an engineer on the Bell Boeing V-22 and Bell/Agusta BA609 tiltrotor projects.Source: Flight International
