Strodel quits Etihad
Robert Strodel has suddenly left his position of chief executive with Etihad Airways.
Observers were surprised at Strodel’s appointment, less than a year ago, as he had no previous experience at that level. He was previously head of cargo and mail with the Abu Dhabi-based carrier.
Geert Boven has assumed the responsibilities of acting chief executive. He joined the airline earlier this year as vice-president of commercial operations.
