Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP) has introduced an electronic logbook system that will enable repair stations to schedule, track and record aircraft maintenance activities. The ATP Maintenance Director is designed to run on networked personal computers, replaces paperwork with single-entry updates and supports proposed electronic record-keeping requirements.

"The ATP Maintenance Director will enable integration of maintenance publications and configuration data for the purpose of tracking and forecasting maintenance activities," says Brisbane. California-based ATP, which is best known for its microfiche and CD-ROM libraries of maintenance and regulatory information.

The Level 1 system now available is compatible with Microsoft Windows 3.1 or 95 and is designed for use by small- to medium-sized maintenance centres. "That size operation can really benefit from the automated forecasting, maintenance tracking and printable logbooks," says ATP. The initial system can support up to 50 aircraft and up to eight concurrent users. Prices start at $2,250.
