The release of tenders for Australia's Joint Project 129 tactical unmanned air vehicle requirement has again been delayed, with the competition now expected to commence in September. The revised schedule will call for tenders to close next January, with an announcement of a preferred supplier set for October 2005. Initial operational capability is being sought during 2008.
