Austrian Airlines has confirmed that it is to acquire four 79-seat Fokker 70s, with options on a further four. Deliveries of the first two Rolls-Royce Tay-powered aircraft are due in September and October 1995, with the second pair to arrive in March 1996. The type has now attracted 44 orders and 19 options.
