The synergies offered by the new structure for the Austrian Airlines Group will amount to c72.6 million ($63.7 million) per year, with two-thirds coming from cost savings and one-third from increases in earnings. The reorganisation of the group keeps the brands of Austrian Airlines, Lauda Air and Tyrolean Airways, but integrates most management functions centrally, with only flight operations and technical support remaining with the individual airlines.
