French helicopter and business jet charter operator Aviaxess is planning to expand its brand nationally as demand for helicopter and jet charter grows throughout the country.

Aviaxess says it has developed a "strong brand" within Paris that it is keen to transfer to key business centres in the east and west of France. It says: "Charter is booming and demand is coming from VIP transport aerial work and corporate travel." Aviaxess plans to add two bases by the end of the year, where it will grow its 12-strong managed helicopter fleet that includes Eurocopter EC130s, EC135s, AS350s and an AS365 Dauphin.

At next month's European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland, Aviaxess plans to launch a frequent flyer-based charter card. The Aviacard is designed to reward occasional users who do not want to subscribe to blocks of charter hours.

"By cumulating flight hours, they will reach various levels of gifts, like Breitling watches and a membership of a concierge service," says Aviaxess.
