Bahraini efforts to establish a pilot training school have led to a partnership agreement with the UK's Oxford Aviation Academy. The Bahraini government investment arm Mumtalakat is setting up the Gulf Aviation Academy to provide a path to train Bahraini cadets. The programme will provide commercial pilot training for 100 Bahrainis by June 2010.
