Raytheon Aircraft demonstrated a new Beechcraft King Air 200 in seven Chinese cities last month in an effort to attract orders from Chinese operators. The manufacturer believes there is a growing market for high-performance twin-turboprop special mission aircraft in China. There are now only six King Airs in China: four are operated by a government flight inspection centre and two by a general aviation company in an aerial photography role.

UK-based HeliOperations has been awarded a £160 million ($207 million), seven-year contract to provide training for German naval helicopter pilots.
The Netherlands has signed a production order for 12 Airbus Helicopters H225M rotorcraft: two fewer than it had originally planned to acquire for its special forces-support requirement.
Airbus Helicopters has been contracted by joint venture SkyAlyne to provide 19 H135 trainers to the Royal Canadian Air Force as part of Ottawa’s Future Aircrew Training programme.
