Aerospace North America will take on a new look with the backing of Boeing next year when it is relaunched as Aerospace Congress and Exhibition (ACE). The international event will be held in Seattle, Washington from 1-14 September, 2001.ACE is a partnership between the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace and Aerospace North America. It will combine seven successful and well-established events into one major show.

These include the World Aviation Congress, the Advances in Aviation Safety Conference, the Aerospace Automated Fastening Conference, Aerospace Manufacturing and Technology Conference and the International Conference on Lighting and Static Electricity.

Boeing's David Swain, the executive chair for ACE, says the conference will consist of "meetings, discussions and activities on a wide range of commercial, military, general aviation, space business and regulatory topics.

"The exhibition will feature hundreds of new and advanced aerospace products from across the globe. Other activities are also being planned that will make this a very busy and valuable week."
