Bombardier's second CSeries flight test vehicle (FTV-2) has arrived at London and is ready to undergo validation for operation at London City airport.

The aircraft, a CS100 variant with registration C-GWYD, arrived at London Stansted airport the evening of 21 March following a flight from Montreal, according to Flightradar24.com.

The flight comes one day after Bombardier tweeted that it had completed "steep approach flight testing" and that the CSeries was "ready for" London City validation.

CS100 launch customer Swiss intends to operate the aircraft to London City, which requires a steep-approach approval.

Bombardier hoped to have achieved that approval by the end of 2016, but the validation has been pushed back.

Swiss has taken delivery of six CS100s and has outstanding orders for four CS100s and 20 CS300s, according to Flight Fleets Analyzer.
