CERTIFICATION - Bombardier's Challenger 604 and 605 business jets have been cleared to operate at central London's City airport.
The European Aviation Safety Agency and Transport Canada have certificated the aircraft as safe to fly London City's steep 5.5e_SDgr approach angle, to take off and land on the airport's 1,319m (4,327ft) runway, and meet the local noise requirements.
Crews need to undergo specific training before they are cleared to carry out operations there, says Bombardier.
