Bombardier is gearing up to deliver its first production CRJ1000 NextGen regional jet on 14 December.
Launch customers for the 100-seat aircraft, Spain's Air Nostrum and France's Brit Air, will join Bombardier management as the first CRJ1000 is delivered.
Bombardier is not saying which carrier will receive the first aircraft to roll off the line. "Additional details will be available on Tuesday [14 December]," says a spokesman with the Canadian airframer.
The CRJ1000 NextGen is the largest member of Bombardier's CRJ family. It is "the optimized solution" for medium-haul route applications, says Bombardier.
