Boullioun Aviation Services has concluded a $350 million contract with Boeing for eight Boeing 737-300s, which marks the first new order placed by the lessor. It is understood that some of the orders could be delivered as the -400 variant. The Seattle, USA-based leasing company, a division of Sumimoto Trust and Banking, will take delivery of the first aircraft in March 1997. The new 737s join Boullioun's all-Boeing portfolio of eight 737-200s, seven 737-300s and one 757. Boullioun says that it has already placed the aircraft with undisclosed operators in Europe and China.
