Oneworld alliance carrier British Airways is to start daily services to Las Vegas from 25 October.
The rotation, using Boeing 777s configured with a three-class cabin, will operate from London Heathrow.
"We will be the only airline to fly non-stop from Terminal 5," says BA head of UK and Ireland sales Richard Tams.
UK carrier Virgin Atlantic serves Las Vegas from London Gatwick. BMI had also operated to Las Vegas from Manchester but ended the service in April.
