COCKPIT UPGRADE

Elliott Aviation has gained European Aviation Safety Agency certification for its elite series cockpit upgrades for business aircraft. The package, certificated on a French-registered 1982 Falcon 10/100, features dual Universal Avionics' EFI-890R large format flat-panel displays and a navigation screen that can also serve as a multifunction display. The package also includes Universal's Vision-1 synthetic vision system. Elliott is targeting owners of ageing EFIS and electromechanical flight instruments for the upgrade.

DEAL SEALED

Gulfstream Aerospace has completed its acquisition of Weco Aerospace Systems, a privately held component overhaul company specialising in electrical systems, electronic accessories and flight instrument services. The two companies entered into an agreement in late January.

VIP COMPLETION

US completion specialist Associated Air Center has delivered a VIP-configured Boeing 757-200 to an unnamed customer. According to the Dallas, Texas-based company, a subsidiary of Landmark Aviation, it fitted the aircraft's original VIP interior in 1994 when it was owned by a different customer.
