GULFSTREAM APPROVAL
The Gulfstream G150 has become the first member of the Gulfstream business aircraft family to gain European and US steep approach certification. The approval paves the way for the midsize jet to operate at airports with an approach angle of up to 6°. These include Lugano and Sion in Switzerland, Stephenville International in Newfoundland, Canada, Marseilles Provence in Marignane, France; and Chambery in Le Viviers du Lac, France.
CESSNA DELIVERIES
Cessna is set to deliver in June the first of five Citation Mustangs ordered by the Singapore Flying College in Australia. The aircraft will be handed over to the Sunshine Coast-based school over the next five years to support its advanced training programme. Two full-flight level D Mustang simulators are also earmarked for delivery later this year. Meanwhile, Cessna has delivered five more Grand Caravans to Indonesian operator Susi Air from an order for 30 aircraft it placed last year. Final deliveries of the single-engined turboprop are set for late 2011.
