DEAL PUT TO BED
Jet Aviation's Zurich subsidiary is to offer JetBed's lightweight, portable beds for Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault and Gulfstream business jets throughout Europe, the Middle East Africa and Asia. The agreement includes representation throughout Jet Aviation's 18 completions, refurbishment and maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities across the globe.
SERVICE OFFERING
Embraer is expanding the service centre offering at its Bradley international airport, Windsor Locks facility in Connecticut. The centre, which opened in 2008 to provide aircraft-on-ground services, will now offer full-scale maintenance services to the burgeoning fleet of Embraer business jets in north-east USA.
CITATION ADDITION
Czech charter operator Grossmann Jet Service has added a Cessna Citation to its fleet to cater for growing demand for business aircraft travel from central and eastern Europe. The light, twin-engined jet joins a super-midsize Embraer Legacy 600 and midsize Hawker 900XP in service.
RAPID CHALLENGER
Bombardier has introduced a Challenger 601 business jet to strengthen its PartsExpress airborne aircraft spares rapid delivery service to customers in Asia, India, the Middle East and North Africa. The large-cabin business jet is based in Dubai, from where it will "transport parts, technicians and test equipment at a moment's notice to Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft operators".
