Cessna’s commitment to the piston single market was reinforced at the show yesterday. Firstly, president Jack Pelton confirmed the manufacturer is studying a new model and then announcing the sale of five C-172SP aircraft for the UAE’s flight academy, Horizon International. Pelton also announced the company will open a sales and field service office in Dubai to support Citation owners in the region. The company’s jet sales will pass 30 by the end of the year.
