Singapore's Changi Airport Group (CAG) and China's Chongqing Airport Group have signed a collaboration agreement, and CAG's consulting unit has signed for two projects with Chongqing Airport.

The memorandum of understanding inked by the two parties paves the way for the duo to explore joint projects and staff exchanges in areas such as terminal management, route development, and commercial management, says CAG.

CAG's overseas consulting arm, Changi Airports International (CAI), has also signed two consultancy projects with Chongqing Airport Group. The two projects cover a review of Chongqing Airport's passenger transfer operations and proposed improvements to its retail environment.

In 2008, Chongqing Airport Group hired CAI to help it increase the size and revenue potential of its retail space.
