CMC Electronics comes to Geneva with both US Federal Aviation and European Aviation Safety Agency supplemental type certificates for its PilotView electronic flight bag.
Pentastar Aviation holds the FAA STC for Falcon 50s, 900s and 900EX as well as the Bombardier Learjet 45 series aircraft. The approved model list change allows Pentastar the first Class 2 EFB system approval for full-time 3D position interface (own-ship position mapping) in the industry, says CMC.
Meanwhile, ABC Completions has received an EASA STC for the Bombardier Global Express. The STC provides for the permanent mounting of the EFB and a navigation input from the flight management system for moving map capability for electronic charts. The installation includes an adjustable telescopic bracket that was custom designed by ABC Completions for the Global Express and its derivatives.
