Continental Airlines and LOT have signed a new codesharing agreement on flights between select destinations in the US and Europe.
Under the deal, Continental will place its code on LOT's transatlantic flights between Continental's New York hub, Newark Liberty International Airport, and LOT's Warsaw hub, as well as on LOT's flights connecting Warsaw with London Heathrow, Frankfurt and Amsterdam that connect with Continental flights from those airports to the US carrier's Newark hub.
In addition, Continental will also place its code on flights between Warsaw and Paris Charles de Gaulle that connect with Continental's New York Newark-Paris flights, subject to government approval.
In return, LOT will codeshare on Continental-operated flights between New York Newark and Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, Orlando, San Francisco and Washington Dulles connecting with the Polish carrier's trans-Atlantic flights between Warsaw and New York Newark.
