Lockheed Martin has received a $224 million contract for 12 F-16C/Ds from Oman. The deal includes alternate mission equipment and ferry preparation but does not include non-recurring development costs that will be negotiated separately. The UK Ministry of Defence's Defence Logistics Organisation has signed a £100 million ($167 million) support contract with Snecma. The French engine manufacturer will guarantee availability and reliability of CFM InternationalCFM56 engines used on the Royal Air Force's Boeing E-3D sentry AEW1 fleet. Northrop Grumman has received a US Navy contract to provide 55 LN-92 inertial navigation systems for Boeing F/A-18E/F and Northrop GrummanE-2CHawkeye aircraft carrier based aircraft. The deal is valued at $9 million. Lockheed Martin has received a C$42 million ($31 million)Canadian Forces contract to supply electro-optical/infrared systems for upgraded CP-140 Aurora maritime patrol aircraft. Lockheed Martin Canada will supply Wescam's MX-20 system and modify the existing retraction systems and wiring for the new turrets. Boeing is to produce 25 Harpoon anti-ship missiles for Egypt under a $36.3 million contract. Lockheed Martin has received a $41 million US Air Force contract for design and development of an extended-range version of the wind-corrected munitions dispenser. Seos is to provide 200° wide collimated cross-cockpit visual displays to CAE for two AgustaWestland Super Lynx 120 helicopter simulators for Oman. The UK company is to provide two Infinity Cube collimated "dome" displays to the US Air Force Research Laboratory Tadiran Spectralink, a member of the Elisra Group, and US partner Global Communications have received a won a $18 million contract to supply Israeli Defence Forces with the "Seventh Heaven" system. It consists of an undisclosed number of fixed earth stations, flyaway stations, and mobile stations installed on Humvee vehicles. Environmental Tectonics has given the Czech air force a $1 million GYRO-IPT-II flight simulator. It will replicate Mikoyan MiG-21 fighters, Aero Vodochody L-159 Advanced Light Combat Aircraft and Zlin Z142 light aircraft and a helicopter type.
